ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The deadline has passed. ORAL and POSTER abstract submissions closed on September 28.

Thank you for your interest in presenting. The contribution of presenters is critical and we value your input greatly.

Scientists in academia, government, industry and others working in the field of metabolomics are invited to submit abstracts in the following scientific themes:

  • Metabolomics in Health and Medicine
  • Technology, Systems Biology & Advancing the Field
  • Environmental, Plant, Animal, Agriculture, Food and Model Organisms

All abstracts submitted to the conference will go through peer-review and will be selected by the Metabolomics 2020 Online Conference Committee. In order to ensure a diverse range of contributions each participant may only submit one abstract as "presenting author" while participants may be listed as co-authors on multiple abstracts.

Abstract Guidelines

Abstract titles should be short, but descriptive. Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words. The submitting author will receive an email message confirming receipt of the abstract and will be responsible for notifying all co-authors of the submission.

Peer-review Procedures and Deadlines

  • Poster abstract submission deadline was extended to September 28.
  • Oral abstract submission deadline was September 20, and extended to September 28.
  • All abstracts will be reviewed by the conference committee.
  • Abstracts constituting sales pitches for products or services will not be considered.
  • Announcements of selected abstracts will be made at the end of September.
  • All presenters must register as a participant in the virtual conference.
  • Complete instructions for oral and poster presentations will be provided upon notification of acceptance.
  • Posters will be available to view online 2 weeks prior to the conference and will be judged by a committee. Top scoring posters will be awarded an oral presentation spot during the virtual conference.
